Samsung Transparent Smart Window

A quick vid showing Samsung's Transparent Smart Window. It was essentially a clear window that acted like a touchscreen monitor. You could literally check your twitter feed, email etc. at the same time as staring out your window. I seriously liked the idea of a digital shade that you could adjust to make the window completely private (blacked out) or completely transparent again.

In my opinion this is the most significant exhibit og CES. Imagine working on your computer and in the same time be able to look at your backyard or at nice view. It will make work much more relaxing and thus productive. It doesn't have to be on a window. Thin of the implimentation on a screen. I would enjoy working like that, free of this digital wall that is created from a screen.

And with the monitor sizes growing bigger and bigger it finaly make sence to have a 27 inch screen because you will literaly be able to use as much as you need every time. Watch a movie full screen and work on adocument on the half of it. It is the perfect wallpaper as long as you have a nice view behind your monitor of course.

What a fail demonstration.. how about they actually make it so that you can verify that it's transparent by having a 360 view of it.. should be mounted on a display in the center not on a friggin wall.
