After driving over the Flüela Pass, we headed towards La Punt to see our 30th Grand Tour photo spot! This #grandtourphotospot shows off the beautiful Chesa Merleda, which is an old patrician home built for Captain Ulrich Albertini between 1642 and 1649.

Once we were done wandering around La Punt, we headed towards St. Moritz. Our first stop in St. Moritz was the Grand Tour Photo Spot at the Waldhaus am See hotel. This photo spot looks over the beautiful Lake of St. Moritz, and it was a great introduction into St. Moritz! St. Moritz was actually the birthplace of the alpine winter vacation in 1864. St. Moritz has also held two Olympic winter games!

The next morning, we headed up the gondola from St. Moritz Bad to Signal. Once at the top, we hiked back down. Along the way, the girls enjoyed a playground, and we all experienced some beautiful views. The hike down was about 3.5 miles, and we endured minimal complaining from the munchkins.

Once our hike was complete, we drove to the Grand Tour photo spot at the Bernina Glaciers. It was a beautiful spot, and we can not wait to come back to experience the Bernina Express, which is a train that runs through the Swiss Engadin Alps!

From there, we began our drive home! We drove over the Julier Pass, and the views were stunning! We then realized that we were close to another Grand Tour photo spot so we made a detour to the Viamala Schlucht. We took some photos, used the bathroom (you have to pay), and we enjoyed some snacks.

We had the best road trip through Graubünden, and we can not wait to explore more of this beautiful canton!

Thank you for wandering along with us!
