My husband and I also are from Iron Mountain and adopted a baby boy the same time as Coach Izzo and had him baptized in the same Catholic church in Iron Mountain. Our son was is a special needs person and we love him to the moon and back.

I have harbored a grudge against Saban for decades. He had the football team squared away and going places, and then he bolted to LSU and broke my heart.

But now I've got tears in my eyes, hearing how Nick opened his home to two adopted kids, and helped the Izzos adopt Steven.
