This is a true story. Shanti Devi was born in old Delhi where I also lived in my childhood. She lived close to where our house was and we often met her in the narrow lanes of old Delhi but never spoke with her as she was much older than us. To the best of my memory, as my mother told us, she never married in her present life.

Same thing happened to my mother.
She tells me the story that when she was 3-4 years old, she insulted her parents that's it was not her house, it's so small and there were no expensive things like telephone or television. Later she told about her last life, where she was the wife of a rich man and had 2 children. But later on the maid who worked in the house, killed her using a pillow and then hanged her body through the ceiling fan.
My mom told her husband's name, her 2 children's name(a boy and a girl) and the maid who killed her and the maid's two sons name. And she even told the adress.
That place was nearly within 200kms(approximate).
As usual mom's family got curious, so his brother(my maternal uncle), went to check to the place. Then asking the localites, he got to know about that house. He saw it was a big palace, with nearly everything a rich family had at that time. Later he asked about the owner, so the old people said nearly 40 years ago, the owner and his 2 children left the town and went to Delhi after his wife suicided. Later he got to know about the maid's name and her son's name, it matched too. Obviously the husband's name and children's name matched too.

And surprisingly, the maid was still alive then. People said her two sons were killed in an accident and she was paralysed.

This is the Re-incarnation story of my mom.

I remember my dad telling a story such as same about his neighbor back in Gwalior(MP). He had two twin daughters of around 5-6 years of age. one of the twin girl was normal, cheery like any other child playing with the toys while the other twin girl would always cry.
