My new RO membrane came with an extra piece (2inch piece with rings on the inside). I assume that is for another unit, not the housing in your video. Can you confirm there are no pads or any extra fittings between the RO membrane and black cap cover?

What is everyone using to stop the water flow when a tank is full? I use a floating valve in the tank, but the water from the well conitnues to flow however.

Hello, would you happen to know what is a good ratio of pure to waste would be, I have been thinking of getting a unit like this for my pond as my tap water has a TDS of 320 to 370 which is terrible for my fish.

I have been researching but keep getting conflicting stories, some say 50/50 others say 4L of pure to 1L waste ect, any help would be greatly appreciated as I am on a water meter so would be nice to know before purchasing, thank you for your time.
