The blinking when Six puts on the raincoat is an insane detail

its interesting how the whole world revolves around the eye and yet we never see any of the protagonists eyes

Plot twist:The eye is actually getting us more into the game so people make more theories, the more theories the more knowledge we get wich drives us mad... The whole point of this game is to turn into a reality

I like the idea of the Eye being the Player, and it would certainly give a nice nod to Inside, which undoubtedly had influence on the first Little Nightmares.

But I have another idea, spurred on partially by the LN twitter account. They'll often post or retweet things and reference dreaming, specifically children dreaming. So what if the eye is omnipresent because in the world of dreams, you can't taste or feel or smell, you experience it through 'seeing'. Just another little tacked on mini-theory. I need some more time to bake it in the oven.

The reason why children in this world are not affected by the madness is little nightmares may be the same as how the Alpha dragon from how to train your dragon can't control baby dragons. Since their brains and senses aren't fully developed, maybe they can't hear or feel the distortion there is and turn to monsters.

I think there’s something very important that you missed, the camera, its described by the devs as a “dollhouse” almost as if we are outsiders looking in, it was made this way to create a certain disconnect, almost as if some god like being is looking in on mortals, as if their lives are just toys for them to control

8:02 That’s exactly my theory! There are so many other hints that lead me to believe it too. The one part of LN2 that looks like a movie director’s chair. The television screen. The “blinking” effect when Six puts on the raincoat.
