Some of us break the edges where tent loop goes to lessen wear on the tent loop.

As they say, "don't practice 'til you get it right, practice 'til you can't get it wrong".

I fear not the man who has practiced 10, 000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10, 000 times. - Bruce Lee

Been watching you since the new year. You have inspired me. I bought your book and am reading it. And looking forward to forging in the near future. Thanks Trenton

When I was assisting down in Houston, we had orders for 56 of them. myself and the lead made all of them in about 6
hours. He did the tapers, I did the twists and bends. Was pretty cool when we locked in the rhythm and it was just boom boom production

Your philosophy of make a hundred till it's second nature applies to so many things in life. Inspiring advice. ✌

Have to master the fundamentals to be successful beyond that... which is true for so many things

Practice, practice, practice and practice again

This is when you pull out the 3lb sledge and drive the stake into the ground... then you sell them the $10 stake puller to retrieve the $4 stake holding their tent down.

Great video. Your videos are very informative. Very instructional, I learn a lot from watching your videos. This channel could definitely use more views and subscribers.

I've watched almost all of your videos, back to your clean shaved, short hair days. You frequently mention Jay and tell his stories. Have you ever said something and realized that it was him talking?

In Australia it's not unusual to make 1/2" pegs only 10" long and still have to drill holes in the dirt to hammer pegs in!

In many previous vids, you have pontificated on making "it" look forged all over. Is this the exception to the rule?

Scoffers: "Hahaha! A hundred? Why would I make a hundred of these things?"
Me: "Well, I dunno... Practice and $400? Why wouldn't you?" I would do this out of boredom between commissions or to take a break from a large project. $2 in materials, 10 minutes of work, make some scratch. No brainer, really.
