In this episode of Food & Drink you will see Bulgarian food: Banitsa and an interesting drink called Boza. Pastries like banitsa exist all over the Balkans and they are very popular snack food. One of the most common fillings is sheep's cheese, which combines very well with the dough. Mmmmh, just simple and great ;-)

Nice and very interesting Bulgarian food review...

If you do not hate boza, you are a winner! Most foreigners detest boza!

Banitsa + Kiselo mlqko & baklava + boza is the right combination, try homemade Banitsa "Burek", Tikvena Banitsa, Tutmanik, makaroni na furna, Guveche, Tarator, Luteniza, Musaka, Domashna rakiq etc

Boza as drink is bulgarian but never seen this brand ... Here in Varna the best boza is "BigBozz" at least i like it a lot and to me it is tastyer than other brands. Yes we have Banitsa but this one does not look like traditional one but Boza is perfect adition to banitsa. You should try bulgarian yogurt and bulgarian wine ... in fact you should come to taste food from source ... it will be much more than i have to say ... ;)

Боза is Bulgarian traditional drink.Don't you recognize Bulgarian (Cyrillic ) alphabet which is official European alphabet? And the cheese inside banitsa is Bulgarian feta cheese.
