Today we learn how to make a Robotic Bird, In previous video we learn how to make 3D model of ornithopter and also do motion simulation of ornithopter model. In this video we show how to make a hardware for this type of robot and also do some flapping movement for wings and tail. This ornithopter is a robotic mechanical bird which controlled by a 4 channel radio transmitter and receiver. the component used in ornithopter are BLDC motor, servo motor, gears, lipo battery, ESC( electronic speed controller) etc. All dimensions and assembly mechanism are shown in the video which helps users to design their own ornithopter.

seems to heavy to fly and wing span is too short as well, but great solid works skills, lighten the electronics, use a thinner sheeting, smaller battery, carbon fiber parts and she will fly :) well done

Nice mechanism and Good work.
Just improve the wing design.
Use lighter battery and lighter motor. I see a lot of metal also

you are not using and Arduino in this but how can you control servo and BLDC motor without Arduino ?

Decrease the weight of components so that the flying capacity will be increased

I can help to improve design but i don't know much abt you i made mine and it worked but design is desi jugad but i will make more lighter by 3D printing and yes you can increase your ornithopter size and its wing size because this mechanism doesn't suit to it much
