Thanks for this high level overview for beginners. It's nice to see these kinds of quick overviews especially since they weren't available when I started. Although most of this was a recap, I learned a couple new things including the expanded docstring reference and the fact that the debugger (which I haven't used for a while) now has profiles for common frameworks.

I like knowing what my extensions do and feel that they are not colliding and clashing with whatever functionality. Why do I need to install Pylance extension when the Python extension says it comes with Pylance?

I have all the python extensions installed in my VS Code yet there are no python interpreters in my drop down list.

How do you add all of these like you show ?
