I’m sticking with my all white. I have a cottage and it just looks so good. I honestly don’t think white will ever go out of style even though the designers want to convince us it is year after year…

White is classic, and yes, the color kitchen cabinets are great if you have a big kitchen but for a small kitchen, darker room, the white cabinets are the perfect choice and I believe is timeless

So many of these design ideas are beautiful and inspiring. I will admit though, I've never understood why there are trends in interior design especially in home design. It's such a crazy idea that someone's home could "go out of style". Now my generation struggles just to afford a home, especially buying one.

I don’t think white will ever go out of style! If it does, it will bounce back! Honestly, do what you love whether it’s trendy or not!😊

I have never liked waterfall islands. When thinking long-term, you know it's going to be an expensive fix when it's out of style. Always avoid expensive trends. I do agree that cold white kitchens may be replaced by warm white.

Love white cabinets and have had them for 30 years. Never tire of them.

White is classic and may not always be "on trend" but will never go out of style.
I have a galley kitchen in my mid-century cottage, and white works great in this space--- the white cabinetry and subway tile backsplash reflect the natural light and make a small space seem light and breezy. very pale cool grey walls (*almost white*) and grey tile flooring pick up the grey veining in the white quartz countertops.

I feel that whatever you choose needs to match the style of your home. For instance, I live in a log home which in my opinion, all white cabinets would look appalling in. Totally out of place. However, I love white cabinets in the right setting such as a farmhouse style of home. Cottage style homes look beautiful with painted cabinets in various colors. Though true it's all about what you love, unless it's your forever home, you should always keep resale value in mind when remodeling. Classic style never goes out of style, whereas trends tend to come and go very quickly, and who can afford to remodel every few years to keep up with the trends? Consider the style of your home and what would appeal to a sellers market when investing in remodeling.

I still like white kitchens because wood tones change from light to mid tone to dark and back. White cabinets stay white. However, although my cabinets are white, my walls and accessories have a lot of color.

I bought a 1978 house with a redone kitchen that I bought in 1998. It came with honey oak cabinets and that is still how they are. I didn't fall for the white kitchen and stainless steel appliances trend which I felt looked cold and clinical. I did change the floor to vinyl that looks like multi-color brown stone and went with black appliances. I like it. Too many of these new black or dark color kitchens are just too dark.

Love the photos you provide, for those of us who need ideas!

These ideas are fine if your kitchen is a separate room. Mine shares one big room with living room and dining area. Therefore, different rules apply because it all needs to blend and coordinate.

We built our home in 2016 and picked what we love. Our kitchen cupboards are simple shaker, painted a medium French blue with a white Island and soapstone counters with beautiful veining. Timeless and gorgeous.

Thank you, thank you. These are all beautiful designs. I’m so tired of all white kitchens! My kitchen is an open space and the previous owner updated the space to an all white, shiny, flat front white cabinets and black counter tops. It looks like a science lab. I have lived with this for 20 years and am so ready for a warm space with natural materials. Light woods, stone and brass hardware.

In our new build home, we have hired a local cabinet maker to build our cabinets (quarter sawn white oak), which is a bit of a splurge, but we’ve waited nearly 25 years to build this house, and I don’t want to settle for something only to regret it later. I’ve always loved oak, and am so glad it’s back, but not the red oak from the 1980’s and 90’s. I’m looking for white subway style with shiny, slightly textured surfaces, and for countertops I’ve narrowed it down to either simple white quartz or one with very light veining.

I’m going monochromatic in my itty bitty kitchen. My walls off white, cabs off white, my quartz is also warm white, my handles and knobs brass, and I have hardwood floors with a mix of cherry and light walnut stain. On my little cabinet I’m doing butcher block. I have beadboard on my backsplash of my little cabinet ( where I’m doing the butcher block), but would like to cover the beadboard with the creamy zelige tiles. That’s the only little spot I can because my husband doesn’t like them, but I Love them. So I can get away with a tiny space. My kitchen will look custom, and simple.
Didn’t have the money to do new cabs, so painted the ones we had. We are getting the countertops in a few weeks. Hope my vision turns out great.
I plan on having pops of color in my plants, and decor. ( and my new green telephone).

I will never get tired of all white kitchens. If I do, I might add some colored light strips in strategic places.

I used to be in love with pickled oak cabinets and I didn’t like white. Then I bought a new home with white cabinets, even though I did not care for the cabinets. I happened to love the yard and location. Long story short, I now love white, with quartz counter!

No, I am not tired of all white kitchens.
They will never go out of style.
