As someone who has several family members who went down the conspiracy pipeline, Creepy Crawlers guts me. The paranoia and delusion they exhibit is perfectly reflected. The fear and desperation especially at the end of the song is heartbreaking having seen it first hand.

Cognitive Tradeoff Hypothesis has such an odd, fatalistic feel to it—like we came down from the trees, or were kicked out of them, and it's all just been one big mistake since. Love that track.

I’ve eaten up nearly all Fantano Shorts content for the past year, but not really a fan of this re-reviewing recent releases format. 95% of the time, it’s just “Yeah, the thoughts I had last year are the same as this year.” (Not an attack on Fantano whose opinions and thoughts I still value.)
