Hole was bigger after you pulled it slightly but when it’s folded it allows it to stretch a little more instead of tearing

I would made a cut in the upper half of the card to slide the coin behind the card.

You gave it away when you said "I'll pull it down" - how can you pull it down if it's in the card?

Hide 2 dimes and a nickle behind the quarter, push the smaller coins thru the hole, and you can give me change for the quarter. Lol.
Then, keep the card folded to make it look like the quarter vanished.
