The requirements are actually a bit harsher... there's a pretty thorough background check (meaning, you have to provide paperwork proofing that you; 1. Haven't been charged with any crime whatsoever. And 2. A document called "Betreibungsregisterauszug" (debt collection report) which shows whether or not you've ever been that late on any kind of payment (could be rent, taxes, or something you bought online) that the creditor in question has no other choice but to get their money back through a federal procedure called "Betreibung". Both of these documents can only be provided voluntarily by the person applying for the position since these records are not public at all!)

Then you also have to pass a physical and psychological exam.

Having graduated high school isn't quite the right translation either. The school system in Switzerland is way harder and definitely more complex than the one in the US.
The real requirement can be compared to having at least a degree in something like culinary school, beauty school, or something like that. The other option to get in is to have graduated from a type of school that doesn't even exist in the USA. Imagine if, by the time you successfully finished 8th grade, you need to have straight A's in all of your classes (every student has to take the same classes, at the same level - classes such as History, Your Native Language, English, French, (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geology count as ONE class), and Math. If you have straight A's in all of them, you then go on to another school for three years, starting after finishing 9th grade. That type of school is very similar to college. If you graduate from that, that's your second option to get in.

Now I mentioned that most men seem to know who they are, but, also, many women have visited the Vatican, and the Vatican Guard are world renown for their excellent hospitality and care for persons in the Vatican. They're exceptional for evangelization, then.
