Показать описание
In this talk I invite the English language teachers to navigate through practical, mobile-friendly ways language teachers can use AI within the ELT teaching contexts to improve the students’ pronunciation, structure practice in a way that promotes their agency.
The necessary supervision and guidance from the teacher, during the classes are key and will be demonstrated during the talk. The following questions will guide us:
*How can generative AI be used in the English language classes in order to make a difference to the learning experience of the students?
*What’s the strategic importance of teacher development to gain confidence and expertise in using both informative & generative AI according to their teaching contexts?
The importance of teacher agency, efficacy and leadership which are key to make a critical use of digital learning resources will also be pointed out.
