Got this ball today and threw strikes right out of the box. I've never bowled with a ball of this caliber, and had it fingertip drilled. First ball w/fingertips too! Got a great hook at the end of the lane that went perfectly into the pocket and gave me a series of 8 strikes in a row. I'm an "old school' bowler and this ball looks like it will adapt me to current trends in the game. It improved my pin count significantly. The pin action on it is great - it scatters the pins really well.

My phaze AI rolls exactly like yours. It gets really forward. But when I took a little shine off it rolled ALOT better. It was way more continuous. Love your vids.

JR always tells you that just because it didn’t look good to him doesn’t mean it won’t look good for you. You have to look at reviews with an open mind and not as a tell all. I always look at the reviews just to see what is said but I don’t use it as a decision maker. I threw this ball in a demo over the weekend and it responded very well for me. I was able to move 5-7 boards left to right and was able to hit the pocket and carry. I for one like the honest reviews.

You’re the first person I’ve seen throw this ball where it wasn’t hooking a ton on the end. I have one on order and this worries me a little. I am more of a lower rev guy and wonder if I might not have enough turn to make this ball work. I’ve had problems with other Storm balls in the past such as the Hyroad which wouldn’t do anything for me. Would taking a bit of the shine off with a 4000 pad possibly help so it picks up a touch earlier?

There is an old saying, you need to watch several people roll this ball before any of you get worried about how it may roll for you. Use JR's look to adjust possibly. 12 Bagger, Charles throws it amazingly, and SOMETIMES JR has a good look and Charles doesn't. Sometimes the layout plays a roll, and sometimes the lanes play a roll in the look. I drilled a summit at 5 inch and it was the wrong look for me. I'm gonna drill mine around that 4 1/4 or so
