Compact Claustrophobia | Tree Farm & Coal Coke Production! | E17 | 1.12.2 Skyblock Modpack

We continue the new modpack Compact Claustrophobia by YOUR_HAMST3R in 1.12.2! We relent and make a tree farm using autoclickers and some not gates as we'll be needing more charcoal. We also make a better way of making coal coke using nuclearcraft manufactory and pressurizer along with some redstone furnaces.

About the modpack:

In Compact Claustrophobia you start trapped inside of the smallest compact machine (a room measuring only 3x3x3). From here you have to somehow escape using the power of tech and nuclear fusion! This is an expert, skyblock-like, tech-oriented pack that aims to keep a tight consistent experience. Contains custom scripting and items to make the progression better.

To complete the challenge presented by Compact Claustrophobia you'll need to experiment with a few key mods. Some important ones are:
Compact Machines
Nuclear Craft
Immersive Engineering
Click Machine

To progress you'll need to create machine pieces which allows for the crafting of the next bigger compact machine. This involves key mods and requires you to learn the ropes all while making every block available count.

You've reached a point in the pack where you need to have autocrafting. Make a system, hook it up with your resources and just teach it how to make all those machines.

Do NOT disassemle your hexa nitrate thingy crystal-setup. You will need SO MUCH of that stuff. Take a step back, set up propper infrastructure, organize your stuff, hook it up to RS and set up autocrafting.

Your reaction to the calcium sulfate was exactly my reaction when I first discovered Nuclearcraft.

The problem with the tree farm is that the bottom clicker needs to be slower than the vertical ones, because when the first log is broken the redstone signal stops all the clickers.

How to automate poop:
Eat a lot of food.
How to automate poop in this pack:
Stepp 1: Sewage:
A barrel next to a water source of your choice (Aqueous acumulator, Infinite Water source, export water with RS, ...) and pump poop into it. This will turn the water in the barrel into sewage.
Place the sewage in the world and drop that pulped bioblend into it.
Pick up the created poop. Done.
If you get your head around Integrated Dynamics/Tunnels you can creacte a setup in 2x2x3.
If you want I can poste more details of my setup.

That programming-quests:
This mod might help to automate the miniaturisation projectors. But since I don't know any programming I assume, that I am quicker building all the shrinking multi blocks rather than learn that entire new mod :D

are you continuing the series? loving it, I binge watched it.

"I don't know if there's a good way of making poop yet" is a sentence I never expected to hear

I always get so incredibly happy when I see this series in my sub box, I love this!!

Regarding poop: Cloche can be used to make pumpkins, have a few setup and getting the biomass/ poop shouldn’t take long, biolend turns into 2 poop

For future reference: copy paste gadget is a pretty easy way to automate the 3x3 recipe grind, it basically remembers exact block placement, a dropper with a timer can be used to throw the thrown items into the field, vaccumulator with a blacklist on thrown item can help pick up items

Yeah, that calcium sulfate is a deep rabbit hole. Kinda crazy.

The open computers Quest leads to an alternative tree farm set up.

You also want to keep the boron nitride setup as even with diamond pickaxes hopstitude is the best way to get diamonds nuggets. For the bedrock pickaxe you need about 40 diamond pickaxes.

I'm not much further along than you, but I suggest making automated setups in their own compact machines for anything you need. Now that you can churn out Large machines quite easily with ender pearls and gold, it shouldn't be a big hassle to get the space at least.

Set up a proper base of operations. Set your brain in order, whatever size feels nice to you. This space should be mostly empty. Have a crafting monitor, a chest with a crafting station next to it, and a full power source, with easy access wire, and keep one of each machine in the chest for manual crafting. Have a SINGLE compact machine in this base. This will be the hub, and will probably get a bit chaotic if you arnt careful. In this hub you can put all the top level compact machines, you should keep access to all the compact machines.

Now.. This proxy block intrigues me for this purpose, you can have a wall of compact machines and all the wiring done behind with proxies.

Loving the series, just seeing you be scattered has been putting me a bit on edge. The time it takes is best bypassed by automating all the things so that you can waffle about while it happens rather than getting lost in the crafting trees. RS is the Way

Missing your episodes of this, especially since I am playing it as well.

Tree farm:
once you have access to glowstone just built a phytogenic insulator. treefarm done.

I’m pretty sure compressed dust sifted in a diamond mesh has a low chance of getting diamond nuggets

I built eight coke ovens to turn charcoal into coke, burned the fluid in the compression dynamo, and used the basic blast furnace to get steel. It's buffed in the newer versions of the pack to make 8x steel per coal coke

To get poop, you need pulped bioblend and a single block of sewage to start. The exchange rate is 2 poop per 1 spent. To get bioblend you need sawdust and pulped biomass, which you can get from pumpkins in the sawmill. Toss one in a cloche and you're golden, no fertilizer needed. You can probably automate the process with a dropper and an observer, but automation is not my strong suit.

Anybody gonna address the fact that, he did in fact have normal vanilla enchantment levels, but because he had no bookshelves around, it only gave up to level 6 enchants max?
