The T in the name Mondial T is derived from the fact that the engine is mounted longitudinally and the gearbox is mounted transversely, thus forming a T-shape. Contrary to what is stated in the video, the timing belt change is in fact more difficult and more expensive on the T because of the longitudinally mounted engine. Unlike the previous versions of Mondial 8, QV and 3.2 which had transverse engines and could have their timing belts changed in situ, the T’s timing belts sit against the bulkhead at the front of the engine so the entire drivetrain needs to be removed to replace the timing belts.

Transversely mounted, was indicated by the T, but it meant the position was switched to be longitudinal mounted, as per the 348 model it was based on. All Mondial models had a removable rear subframe to access all belts etc. Nice low mileage original car. I’d been loathed to do the touch ins to keep absolute originality but even if you did, it would be no down marker to the car. Lovely.

I have a 38’000 km Mondial 3.4 T 1992 and it has less stone chips… and I drive it 3000-4000 km a year…

Absolutely stunning car 😊😊 A very good friend of mine has a ferrari 355 F1. He never uses it only does a few hundred miles a year. Can't see the point of having it really. 😢 I've had lots of cars including Rolls Royces, Mercedes, jags, and stacks more. Lots of classics and i used them all the time. Around 4 times a week which is perfect 👌. If someone buys this stunning ferrari 😊 please can you use it. At least if its only in the dry. No point in having it to sit in your garage ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

doseant sound as nice as a ov a very low milage car can have more problams than high milage car in ferrari form trx wheels 500 pound a corner for them tyres i can see y they never done cam belts engine out for cam belts 4 k job or more sayin that that cars worth 60 k plus
