Having the family pets accept the otter has gone a long way in saving this otter. I suspect it will become a family pet now that it has bonded with the cat and dog. The family should provide the otter with a source of water to play in since instinctively they are drawn to water for hunting of water creatures. Throw in a few small fish and that otter will be one happy family member.

I would love to have an otter for a pet, but don't you think you should take it to a wildlife sanctuary if there was one nearby? Then the otter would be reintroduced to the wild where it belongs.
