On my wedding day, my father was driving my groomsmen and myself to the wedding. When we came to the intersection of the highway, he stopped and asked. " Alright, we going to make a left and spend the weekend at the beach? Or are we gonna go get you married?" I was kind of speechless. Almost wondering if my Dad knew something I didn't. I decided to get married. Five years later, I was divorced and had to start my life all over again. It's safe to say my Dad definitely knew something I didn't. Should've made that left and spent the weekend at the beach. My Dad always let me make mistakes because that's how we learn to be men. RIP Pop, I miss you every day!!
