2016 Mustang V6 | Roush Cold Air Intake Before and After

Not a how to, but rather the sound differences. Got a cold air intake by Roush for my S550. Recorded the before and after on the inside and outside of the car.

Pretty much it has been proven that the stock airbox is better then aftermarket kits even paired with a tune. Reason I know is because I have installed one of the cold air kits and my torque curve completely was gone in the mid to high end in rpm. Once I put the stock airbox back in the gains returned. I would suggest putting the stock box back in and just do a front grill mod to let more air in your airbox then put in a k&n drop in filter. Then tune it.

There is a intake air temp reading and ambient temp reading on the center display. After being parked and getting heat-soaked the OEM air box can be 50 degrees above ambient. Does this CAI improve on that ? Not really interested in sound but in functionally cooler charge air while you are actually driving.

Do a 0-60 with a CAI and see the difference

With your CAI did you feel like u gained any hp and this is without a tune right.

I just did this and it is louder, but the quality of the sound is not as nice.

Complete waste of money dude.. but it's a great engine
