The new ark 32.24 update, you have to enable "Show player servers" in order to see the server that are not nitrado made.

As a heads up, there is a bug in the server.bat script posted on the site, but it's correct in the video. You have a start command before the steamcmd there, which works, but it runs steamcmd at the same time it starts the ark server, instead of waiting for steamcmd to finish. Removing the start command from that line fixes that.

I can't open the console in the game menu to do the open command, the console only work once you load a game, doesn't work from the server selection screen or the main menu

Hi, good video ! One question and one suggestion:
I ve followed your guide for setting up my server on a dedicated PC. But when trying to join it in local, I run the command open:localIp:port and then it gives me a black screen and nothing else. No joining info in the server log

Also, I suggest in the start.bat file to add /B /WAIT to the first command (start /B /WAIT etc etc) in order to wait for the server check to finish before starting it

Important question! That first line in the .bat file is supposed to update the server at every start? Because mine isn’t updating on startup and it’s staying at version 25.25.

I just had a server up from this video. Now I did a FULLY fresh install and it's just running the start.bat and going through all the verify and then just closing out and not showing anything else. Please help.
