Some backyards are turning into swamps from flooding in northern Utah. Some were reminded of 1983 floods this weekend as the Weber River rose near their yards.

I grew up around the upper Weber river, it can get extremely high and all through the years watching people building closer and altering it. They deserve anything that comes from it.

Terrible. But I wish the water could come to Las Vegas's Lake Mead. Our lake is So low. My best to Everyone in the flood zones. Take care, and be safe.

The absolute dumbest thing you could do as a prospective homeowner is build on a floodplain. It's right there in the name why this is a terrible idea, and yet people still do it.
