The reason the LX 570 sells better than Land Cruiser is because the Land Cruiser cost way too much for a TOYOTA badge. For about $10, 000 more you can get into a LX570. Most people who could afford a Land Cruiser can also afford an LX570 so its a no brainer to get the more Luxurious version of the same SUV.
If they made the Land Cruiser $20, 000 less it may be affordable for the mainstream.
