Love your scenarios and the story parts! For the Shotgun I thought as a slow firing weapon (P. 46) it can only fire once per activation? I did not see the blue die roll the reload bonus. That is one of the busiest weapon cards.

As a sidenote: The double barrel shotgun is a slow firing weapon - he should not have been able to shoot twice except if he rolled a atomic mushroom (which he did not)
