That feels like you were a little boy from little town who had moved from there to city. After years you come back and see how it had changed. The most of your childhood friends had moved too, and the only things remind about past time are houses, which looks like as many years ago.

This is what it felt like after I turned 21 a few years back…the things you used to love watching no longer relatable and fun now that you’re older, the inner youth you that you still had doing the fun things you used to do that you still try to make it fun, no more. Growing up sucks, live your childhood to the fullest as much as you can…we all only have one life to live.

The saddest part is that future generations won't remember iconic children's shows like we did. Sure, they made us angry, sad, happy (and may or may not have given us some chilhood trauma) and most important of all, we created countless memories with them as we all aged with the shows...

You see, This is what I imagine happens during time travel.

Everything enters the present, Nothing is there, in the past, it's in the past. There is no Old you, You just move on.

If this is how time travel looks like once we discover it, The disappointment would be large.

However, This is what it is. This is how we live. This is how we see the light of day as it is of now.

We keep moving on.

I'm not sad, because thanks to our modern world I can go revisit these places any time I want. I will miss the memories of watching them the first time, but that's what made these shows so special. The last of the TV era before streaming. I hope kids nowadays find some similar nostalgia somehow in animation and they get to appreciate the old stuff we love so much as well.

I also think this represents a turning point for our culture in general. I've noticed a lot of nostalgia for how media used to be made in the 70s-00s. It might be the thing that saves us from automation and soulless AI. People want TV to be TV, movies to be movies, games to be games, animation and film to be made by humans. And longing and wishing for that stuff will make it so it never truly goes away. We crave authenticity and strong atmosphere that leaves us with human feeling. No corporation, regime or obstacles will crush that dream. SpongeBob SquarePants and the associated cartoons around it I think are the strongest example I've seen. People fight all the time, but they would do anything to preserve and hold on to what they grew up with.

I miss being a kid.. I might’ve not had friends even then but at least I was happy with my cartoons and too stupid to realize how miserable life is… gaining awareness was having every piece of happiness and joy ripped from my chest and now I struggle to breathe… I wish I could go back with all my heart..
