Okay so because of this video, I have selected this as the laptop I will be getting in a couple months for use at school. I'm opting for a slightly lower spec model, with 8 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD, and a 1080p touchscreen, but I think this laptop will be great for school and casual use.

I have the lower end Lenovo yoga 710 and I love it I really think that Diana will love that laptop.

19:13 The Alienware is actually an impressive example of a hard drive!
And it isn't like it is a really fresh install, too! My hard drive often takes closer to 2 and a half minutes to get to the desktop.

also, for li-po (and Li-ion) batteries (inside laptops, phones, tablets): the closer you keep the charge level to 70%, the longer it will last.
Emptying the battery used to be a thing with Ni-based batteries but shortens Li-based batteries' lifespans.
And so also does keeping them charged (at 100%) all the time.
