i wish the 2011 hxh version showed the fillers from the 1999 version. The 1999 fillers may have been fillers, but they were really awesome ones. Like where they were on that boat and the storm came up in the hunter exam arc. Along with the yorknew fillers / heavens arena / when gon and killua were at whale island visiting Aunt Mito, and where they were with that little bear cub, we saw apart of killua :)

This kind of inspired me to watch the 1999 episodes with the boat and for some reason now I can picture an entire AU or entire anime with them living on the boat. I don't know why but it's become my absolute favorite.

The feels. I'm going to watch the old one just because of all the extra scenes that weren't in the 2011 version. The animation is much more fluid as well.

I've watched a bunch of hxh AMVs trying to find one that matches up, but this is by far STILL the best one I've found and the only one that captures the essence of the story and the atmosphere of the plotlines rather than just the action sequences...

but I just wanna say, I saw this back in 2012-2013 and it left such a great impression that even after 5 years of surfing and watching amv, I thought to myself " you know that one hxh 1999 amv with poets of the fall song ? I think that's the best I 've seen so far, all fandoms amvs included, lets go see if we can find it after all those years, hopefully its not deleted "

I've been too embarassed to comment for the past year but I'm finally sucking it up and being the weenie I am telling you how much I adore this AMV. In short, it's one of my favourite videos on youtube. It's not among the most technically impressive videos I've seen, but it means so much more to me in content.
