Counter-Strike Source: Rhedd's High FPS Config (for Low End Users)

After you put the config file in C:\Program files\steam\steamapps\username\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg you need to right click on counterstrike source in your steam game library and then click properties, click set launch options and paste
"-heapsize 1048576 -high -dxlevel 80" without the quotes in the box then click ok and your done...

-heapsize = GBS of your RAM being used to play the game

-High = Sets the game to High Priority on your pc

-dxlevel 80 = uses Directx 8.0 Graphics on your pc (Directx 8.0 is for Low End users)

If you're wondering why your flash light is not working, its because of the dx_level is in 80... Turnit back to dxlevel 95.... that type of problem also occur in other source games such as black mesa.

it won't let me change things in-game, for examply, crosshair size. After closing and opening the game again it goes back to the original crosshair given by the cfg creator

The best configuration one can get for CS:S. Although the graphics are not so good but it certainly boosts FPS which is what most people with low end pc's want. Getting playable frame rates around 30 FPS with no lag.

This works on cracked versions too?I got 1.8ghz 1.5gb ram and 250mb graphic card on dust i could max play about 15-20 fps but i realy want to play zombie escape so thanks if t his work i will try it now...sry for bad english
