UPDATE: Since this video was posted I rededicated my life to Christ and got a lot more deliverance. I literally don't know where I would be without Jesus. LIKE. When I made this video for school, I was still in sooo much bondage. I didn't even realize how bad it was. This year, after I went to the movie Come Out In Jesus Name and got more deliverance, the Lord has just broken me free from so much and accelerated me spiritually, and I've just fallen more in love with Him than ever before. GLORY TO GOD!

Hi, I'm Lauren and this is my testimony up to about November 2022. In this video, I talk about how I first met Jesus as a FtM transgender atheist, as well as how I found out about deliverance ministry and began my deliverance journey.
This video was a project for school (I'm a college student), but I want to share this with everyone who can see it. I hope this blesses you!
Please reach out if you have any questions about the Gospel or my testimony, especially LGBT youth. I would love to pray for you and help you in any way I can. But I'm just a resource, Jesus is THE source, definitely seek Him for yourself and don't make anyone a substitute for going to Him directly.

THE GOSPEL:
Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. God is real, and He LOVES you more than you can imagine. Without Him, you're already on the way to hell (nobody's good enough to deserve heaven because everybody's done wrong) but Jesus died to save you from that! "The Gospel isn't God hatefully saying 'Turn to me or I'll send you to hell,' it's God lovingly saying 'you're already on your way to hell, turn to me and be saved.'"
Call on Him, and He'll never reject you or turn you away! He doesn't just only wanna stop you from going to hell but He wants to know you personally and give you a good Father's unconditional love! He is GOOD and He loves you so much! If you let Him in, He will transform your life. And things won't always be easy, you're still gonna go through stuff, but it'll be worth it and you get to through it by His side, not alone by yourself.
Jesus Christ is the only one who can save you, heal you, deliver you, and give you that real peace that's impossible to find anywhere else. And He wants to! He sees you. He loves you personally, you're not a number to Him.
Giving your life to Him is a conscious decision you have to make, but it'll be the best decision of your life. This Bible verse talks about how to get saved:
Romans 10: 9-10
"Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. (ESV)."
This means to,
1.) believe the truth about who Jesus is: God incarnate who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead three days later.
2.) Confess Jesus is Lord over your life. This verse says to confess it with your mouth. Making Jesus the Lord of your life means giving him control of your life. It means surrendering to Him, and letting Him have control of your whole life instead of taking things into your own hands.
Also, you can't earn salvation or a relationship with God by trying hard enough or doing enough good works. Remember that it's a free gift (Jesus already paid the price for it because it was too high for us). This Bible verse talks about that:
Ephesians 2:8-10
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (ESV)."
If you just got saved, praise the Lord!! A good next step would be getting a Bible and starting to pray regularly. Prayer is just talking with God, and what kind of relationship is it when there's no communication? If you're not sure how or what to say, just jump in and start praying. There's also some good resources out there; Jenny Weaver has some stuff.
Reading the Bible is very good too because it'll renew your mind, meaning God will supernaturally use it to change you to be more like Christ. You'll start to think differently. Reading it will also help you get to know God more and teach you His character, and the more you read it, the more you'll want to read it. Knowing the Word of God also gives you something solid to test different teachings, ministries, ideas, etc, by and to know if they're true/of God, based on whether they agree with what's in the Bible.
Getting plugged into a church or ministry is also a good next step because you'll have a community of people to grow with, as well as accountability and leadership. Make sure it's a church that teaches the Bible and is led by the Holy Spirit, and is on fire for Him.
