There’s still a lot of good 2 cycle 15hp OMCs here in Wisconsin. 75# and real strong motors.
I have one on an Alumacraft V 14. Fast boat. I’m real picky about adding unnecessary weight.

I have a 1448 g3 with a 9.9. It’s definitely under powered. Would you say the 15hp is enough or you’d go with a 20-25? Have you tried the 15 with 2 adults and gear in the boat? Thanks so much

Where did you get the bow and stern lights? Is the boat stable enough to stand up and use the cast net?
