I really enjoy the constructive criticism personally I love Uncaged more than Instinct. It just shows Uncaged is not for everyone. Honestly I enjoyed every single track on Vol 8 especially surprised Eptic made it onto Monstercat. At least you do have positivity with Uncaged since not all tracks are bad at all. I like that.

I actually find it pretty cool how Dion Timmer and Pixel Terror are both on a same Uncaged Album (especially when I was using my Axent Wear headphones, I'm not sure of you've heard of that pair before or not).

I think I’m polar opposite from you. I think habstrakt killed with the one and it’s catchy vocals. I love the amount of dnb on this comp and I think reaper had the best debut last year. I loved violence and was surprised that a dubstep artist from nsd could make an ep that I like. I mazare is overall better on uncaged. But I will say that slushii and nitro fun weren’t great here.

My top 5 would be...
1. Mazare - Battlecry
2. RIOT - Blackwater
3. Reaper - Sawtooth & Shouldn’t (sorry I like both equally)
4. Eptic - Violence
5. Stonebank - To The Top

Interesting how you never say talked about Assemble, seeing as your a fan of xilent and dbmd was on your list, that should have been your number 1 or anywhere on your list.

As much as I disagree with 4/5 of your picks (Notaker is definitely Top 5 for me), I do very much strongly agree with your preamble, because this is pretty much their most bloated compilation to date. The worst part about this tracklisting is that several of the artists show up more than once, leading this to be their least diverse project so far.


I'm taking a blind guess that your new least favourite track is Exterminate, but that's blatantly because it's my least favourite, so.
*EDIT:* Nevermind, I think I know what it is now. I REALLY don't blame ya.
