Just watched Lloyds TV advert on TV which a black horse rides across fields. It reminds me the Silas TV show, which I watched in Iran in 90s. Good feeling to watch it again my favourite childhood TV show.

I Loved this Series when I was young in the early eighties .
It twas so great and wonderful to see the good Actresses and Actors.
The Music was amazing and great too.
The good old Times, they never come back

I remember watching this back when it was on BBC 1 back in summer 1986, the part in the 1st episode where the kid is beaten and forced to swallow the sword really stuck in my mind, it was pretty brutal for morning TV.

I watched this as a kid in the 90s in Iran. I had nightmares from the villain who kidnaped children.
Every kid wanted to have a horse because of this series, we never knew it was German :D
