It is the best product in this wacky realm of fish keeping. Just remember Seachem does not endorse creating your own version of Prime by adding safe to a container of water and dosing it out. The difference between the two is that Prime has an ingredient which allows it to remain potent in liquid form indefinitely. That ingredient is not available in Safe. So, use it accordingly, as per Seachem's directions.

Use Prime for smaller fish tanks. If you are doing weekly water changes on large tanks then Safe will definitely save you lots of money. I love it.

I've bought safe. According to me it's more value for money than Prime. The bottle on Safe says that it's better to add to new water first rather than directly adding it to the aquarium but I've heard people say that it's not stable to add it to the water and store it. I'm confused. Can you explain what's the difference between Safe and Prime if any?
