I turned 25 today. My late teens and early 20s were misery, no memories to speak of just a whole lot of regret, "wasting the best yrs of your life" type of feeling and amazement as to where the time went. I really dont know how much longer i can live like this.

Don't compare yourself to your peers. It doesn't matter if you haven't done everything they have. That's a huge mistake I made when I was growing up. We all develop and grow in life at a different pace. You still are very young with plenty of time to do the things you dream about. Best wishes!!

When you grow older, time seems to accelerate. For me, the transition from age 5 to 10, from age 10 to 20, and from age 20 to 40 feel like equal spans of time. 2020 feels like 1 year ago lol. A few months ago my cousins daughter who is your age saw me meowing at a stray cat and she couldn't stop laughing, when I asked her what was so funny she said its weird to see someone so old meowing at a cat (Im in my late 30's) I've loved cats my whole life and to be told im too old to meow at cats made me sad. 😿

I feel you, I’m 22 but I’ll be turning 23 in October and I feel like I’ve wasted so much time doing nothing. I’m behind in a lot of things and it makes me feel very bad about myself. My thoughts have taken over me making me feel very sad. It’s affected how I view myself, I have very low self esteem. It’s all I think about most of the time and I hate it. I’m trying though, I want to go out and live. I want to be happy but it’s hard.

😄..it's scary how fast time goes and trust me it only gets faster the older you get..like i turn 40 next month and at this point time is going ridiculously fast..don't worry too much though you are still young and have plenty of experiences ahead of you
