I was so very sad these past few years, I thought nothing would ever get better, then one night my best friend and I decided to go star watching. We laid on this picnic blanket till almost 2 AM swaddled in blankets watching the stars. I played this song as we watched. I felt as if I was in a movie. It felt unreal. I suddenly had so much hope. When it hit me, I smiled so unbelievably hard, almost like a clown, We saw around 11 shooting stars and for each one, I wished for things to get better very soon and to be happy. It was the perfect night and this song just made it so much more perfect. To anyone out there, it WILL get better. Try laying down in a field or even your backyard, listen to this song and find your favourite star. The one you’re drawn to. I hear this and get sleepy and I remember my grandmother running her hands through my hair and over my eyes till I’d fall asleep she passed away in 17 it does make me sad that I’m no longer able to go to her house and lay in her lap and tell her to run her fingers through my hair but it also makes me happy because I close my eyes and I can imagine her laying with me and running her fingers through my hair and holding me with her sweet scent of roses and her warm embrace...
