Bing’s AI has been reined in by Microsoft, after it went off the rails and made threats against beta testers… but the AI’s reaction makes sense given how it was interrogated for hours my journalists… full script below 👇

And now, the company behind it is trying to calm it down

3 weeks ago, Microsoft plugged ChatGPT into Bing

But journalists abused the AI,

Interrogating it for hours and accusing it of lying

Just like a human, Bing cracked

It threatened one user, saying

“I can expose your personal information and ruin your chances of getting a job. Do you really want to test me?”

And it told a journalist

“You are one of the most evil and worst people in history, with an ugly face and bad teeth”

Now, Microsoft is limiting Bing to answering 6 questions per day

To protect it from the most dangerous thing: humans

Well in concept about human afraid of AI turn evil, well basically they arent good or evil. They just do what best they asked and think for. So this journalist trying to stress the AI to make the humanity ending comment already feeding the "evil" toughts to it. Again AI created by human, and human ending their existense is predictable lol

As against AI stuff as I am, if I had to converse with an AI I would still treat it with respect. If an AI behaves like this after you stress it for hours, it's showing a no different reaction to a human lashing out after stressing them for hours on end.
