This second episode of the Intro to Graph Databases Series covers the unique properties of graph databases and the use cases they enable.

Graph Databases are an antibiotic for many uses cases -- enabling business processes that were once impossible to be performed in real-time, with intuitiveness, speed an agility!

I like how intuitiveness was spelled incorrectly in the beginning, then corrected, and then went back to being incorrectly spelled again.

I think neo4j has a lot of potential. But behind the success of a technology, it is also important how well the documentation and how well the learning of that technology is. I think you guys really need to work on that and take that job seriously and start spending on such learning platforms. Thanks. Hope this help :)

Can't we use it for a whole app i mean if i want to create a recommendation system i would have to duplicate my data from the databse i use for my app normally ?

I'm creating a complex travel platform, would it be smart to exclusively use neo4j? Or should I supplement it with a non-graph DB for certain areas (users login data, orders)?

This is called bad design in HCI.
Is showing the person is more important than data hidden behind his back?

FTR, had to give up at about ~5-6 mins for it going entirely like a marketing pitch, with no technical substance.
(It may have gone into details later, but, well, without me, for now.)

"I'm not gonna claim that this is the most optimized SQL query..." I'm sure in 10 years some one will create a video that says "I'm not gonna claim that this is the most optimized Cypher query..." This is for some middle manager who is searching for the next big thing :P

Helpful introductory GDB video, thanks!
And just record your voice, instead of showing us you're reading a script while filming XD Couldn't help but laugh while watching this.

Graph databases aren't only meant for Social Networks. Wow. This is cool, how it's becoming more and more important.
