I played console on basically a theatre screen with a projector when I was young. This was regular. I miss those days so much

Terraria is such a great game, and works well on a large screen. Its a breath of fresh air compared to some games that force the community to become divided to pick some great sounding features.

The “problem” with using TVs for gaming now is not the refresh rate, but the response time. Not a huge deal but if you’re playing in a “competitive” game/setting, then response time is super important. All high end and even a lot of average monitors are 1ms or less response time, lowest response time I’ve seen on a moderately priced TV is 3ms.

I used my 13 year old tv as a monitor and my 2012 dell PC (I stole it from my grandma) for like 3 years. Now I use a really old projector on a dark blue wall to play on my Wii. I remembered how much I hate cooking mama Wii.

I used to have a TV as my monitor, but for my 15th birthday (Which if you are reading this on March 31st, was at the start of this month) my dad got me a 34 inch Curved monitor that really helped improve my gameplay. It also just makes my games look super clean and fresh.
Side note: If you own Rainbow six siege, go into your display settings and switch from Prioritize resolution to performance. It makes your gameplay way more smoother and clean, however you do need a good monitor because I told my friends to do this and they all either couldn’t switch it and/or it caused major lag
