Today, we'll be making a delicious dessert that combines the tanginess of oranges with the creaminess of Greek yogurt, all held together in a refreshing agar agar jelly. And the best part? We'll be using simple ingredients that are easy to find in any grocery store. So, join me in making this delicious and refreshing dessert that's sure to impress your family and friends. Let's get started!
Ingredients List 🧅🥕🥦🥔
- 3 oranges
- 3 tablespoons of grated orange skin
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 40 grams of corn starch
- 10 grams of butter
Instructions:
1. Cut a proper food container made of plastic and set it aside.
2. Peel four oranges and thread the oranges onto toothpicks or bamboo skewers to hold them together, I am using spaghetti pasta.
3. In a pot, add 500 ml of milk, 4 grams of agar agar powder, and 4-5 tbsp of sugar.
4. Mix the ingredients and place the pot on medium heat until it comes to a boil.
5. Once boiling, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.
6. Add 300 grams of Greek yogurt to the mixture and stir well.
7. Place the oranges vertically into the prepared container using the toothpicks or bamboo skewers to hold them in place.
8. Pour the milk and yogurt mixture into the container, covering the oranges.
9. Place the container in the refrigerator for 2 hours to allow the dessert to set.
10. Once set, remove the toothpicks or bamboo skewers from the oranges and slice the dessert into individual servings.
