Cole and Yared stepped on the gas at the last stretch! Incredible!

Absolutely one of the best races I’ve seen.

I have to give Kara Goucher credit for calling it in the semi-final. As Hocker stuck close to Jakob and Kerr in the last lap she commented this was a great experience for him to use in the final. She was spot on as he surged past both of them!

Media can’t say who the winner is—you actually have to run the race . Ingebrigtsen thought he simply had to show up to win and the media actually presented, pre-race, that Ingebrigtsen and Kerr were the only runners that mattered. I only hoped someone would come out of nowhere and 2 did-great race to watch!

Simply a freak victory inside lane with bad form right at the end but FORTITUED tenacity and stadium electricity played a magical moment.. congratulations. To the duck🎉

J'y etait !
Ingebrigtsen, c'était le boss mais le stade vibrait pour Kerr: beaucoup de Britanniques dans les tribunes.

What rubbish reporting and analysis. I thought Sports Illustrated was a respectable outlet. These guys come off as two buddies who have their own podcast that nobody listens to.
