This is the first time I am seeing somebody saying that SPARK can also be used for Data Storage, at 8:52min of this video trainer is saying that data can be stored either in hadoop cluster or in spark cluster. I am bit confused here, because so far I have read that Spark is ONLY a PROCESSING ENGINE. How come spark provides storage????

Spark is not at all replacing hadoop, it is just a faster processing engine that's it [better than Map Reduce].

Please help me in understanding how SPARK is providing storage support??? I don't think spark provides any storage as such.
