Also, if you flew them in "out of the box" configuration they are tail heavy and fly better with a bit of nose weight under the motor inspection cover. I fly mine with 3 pennies. You could use dimes.

I have many of these 400mm warbirds and just did a brushless conversion using a UMX brick and suggestions from "A dogs life" videos. Thay are fun with the stock brushed motors but crazy fun with a brushless setup 👍

I find the V1 Red Tail is a better flyer in Expert mode but the V2 Obsession has a nice clear cockpit. I did a video in which I exchanged the man for a 3D print version in Obsession. Overall I am glad I have both of them. I did also repaint a V1 as a blue nose version. So in effect I have three. Again video on my channel if you want to see. Nice to see others enjoying these little planes, so much fun.

I have both, too close for me to see a difference, Zero is coming next. A heads up from experience. I found that the motor shaft prop connecter, with tabs can get weak or even a tab can crack. Much easier for prop to fall off. I lost 2 props in midflight. Flying 4-5 minutes, give full throttle for a loop and prop comes off. Have spare connectors and check after each time prop comes off. Also paint the props, maybe some red and white tips, front and back. A must for me since I fly in area with TALL grass, but the black props can easily hide.

You can manually adjust linkage and use same props and they will fly pretty much the same

The Volantex P-51 versions are not my favorites. Those fake machine guns molded into the leading edge of the wing create drag. I like tuning small airplanes to go as fast as possible. Of course it would be easy to remove the machine guns using a sharp hobby knife. I like the T-28 Trojan, the new version of the Corsair with clear canopy, and the Spitfire that has the brighter colors with yellow stripes on the front of the wings.

Using the aerobatic button,
it does an aileron roll, not a barrel roll. Also, they're called loops, not flips. Try to hold the camera steadier, and fly closer to the camera. Thanks for the video.

This video seems pointless. They are the SAME plane with different paint schemes. They are obviously equal.
