Governor Siminalayi Fubara has described the attack as the handwork of his political opponents. The governor visited Ikwerre Local Government Council Secretariat to assess the level of damage.
According to him, suspected political thugs took advantage of the absence of security personnel after police gave the newly elected chairmen access to their offices
