I can’t believe that I missed this launch! I was here yesterday, but I totally forgot this morning. At least I saw the replay. Thanks for all that you do!

Cloud cover created amazing sound effects. We are approx 60 miles north and FELT rumble of the Merlins approx. 8-10 min after launch! Our storm door rattled as well. Awesome launch for spectators up here in Ormond Beach.

If the mic is a Sennheiser, perhaps it's a 609 or a 421. I'd like to think it's a 421: great for horns and snare drums with a classic look. e 609 mics are most often used for guitar amps. Either way, a mic capable of enduring extreme SPLs.

That drone landing highlights the point that the booster needs several 'successful' soft landings BEFORE potentially destroying the tower!

OOPS! That rumble experience was for 10-9 launch yesterday. Very cool.

I've noticed the most recent drone landings have been bull's eyes. It's like they are tweeking the software for the super. That last landing looked liking it was sliding in from the side like a practice mechanical arm catch.

Shoot, did I miss it? Originally it was supposed to be at 12:25 a.m. but then I got a notification that it wasn't going to be till 2:20 a.m. or something like that so I was waiting up for that time to come.
