"If you put clothes on her and then ask her to insult you, it'll boost their durability"

I have never heard a sentence so anime-esque until now

Perspective check: I grew up with a "console" that had a faux-wood finish and could just barely manage Pong. Every time I hear a vid apologetically going on about "dated" game graphics that look like the wildest scifi fantasies of my youth it makes me smile. When you're old enough *everything* looks good compared to your memories.

I JUST got back from getting a copy of the anniversary edition while running errands. It was amusing explaining to the wee lil geekgirl behind the counter what the game was about.

"That ... is the most Japanese game of all Japanese games." was her reply ... then she put a copy of the regular version on hold for herself. :-D

Geoff just made a twenty minute ad and we’re all watching it… it’s goddamn entertaining. Thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of akihabara strip vampires!

As someone with a brother 6 years older than myself who shaped much of my interests, I can confirm that I am very much nostalgic for things I never experienced

I usually come to your channel for anime content. After watching this video I think I come to your channel for your content. Whatever you produce I find it entertaining and it usually feeds my curiosity for the next game/anime/manga to play/watch/read.

i sort of misread the title and absolutely thought i was going to learn about the full history of the place now called akihabara, starting from like. hunter-gatherer cultures. but learning about a video game for the first time and also instantly becoming infatuated with it is fun too

Man I was waiting for the ad read to finish, and then it just went on for twenty minutes. Amazing. Can't believe I watched all that. How do you do that. XSeed better have given you a good amount for this, cause this is probably the most convincing ad they're going to get for Akiba's Trip

Thank you soooo much for talking about this game.
Akiba’sTrip is such an underrated series and deserves way more love and attention than it gets. Hopefully this will bring in more fans to the series you are truly doing gods work🙏

I'm gonna be completely honest: Akihabara is one of the most soullessly-corporate places I have ever been. Legitimately, my visit to the place in 2018 was nothing short of painful.

Akiba’s Trip and Akiba’s Beat were probably the funniest and most mindlessly enjoyable PSVita games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. Thank you for bringing this “slap in the face of nostalgia” that I long forgotten

When I went to Akihabara it was when the Akiba Strip anime was being promoted. So I have a promo poster for Akiba Strip that I got from Akihabara

I was finally gonna visit Japan last year. Having the trip not only cancelled but many of the landmarks I was planning to visit permanently closed due to COVID (i.e. the One Piece Tower) is a special kind of hell

Akihabara, the place so full of culture they made a Sentai parody centered around it, and it was one of the best seasons of the franchise
