Yup. I was surrounded by toxic people all my life. Even if i did good it was never appreciated or recognized. I was bullied by my cousins because I was an ugly duckling. And lots of times I was getting punished by things my brother did. All that because I took it all in. A girl wasn’t supposed to flinch if things aren’t likable.
I left home at 16 with the excuse to get married. Since then I got married twice. It’s obvious I have been looking for love and acceptance in the wrong people.
Now I am single I have three kids and two grandkids and one more on the way. I am a stylist and studying paralegal. I am so done with toxic family and people. It’s me time now.
I used to be afraid being alone but as time goes by I am thrilled that I have peace in my life. I will never go down that path again.
