As a channel watcher I'd just like to comment of what the reason is in my opinion why MW posted this video, it is to show just how well the emulator is coming on, as it says, it shows you how to try and LOAD (not really play) games, but at this very early stage you must not expect stuff to work correctly. The work involved in back engineering these machines is HUGE, getting the use of a Sony dev kit is hard work. Rome was not built in a day, the video is a glimpse of what might be. Credit due to the dev(s) of this emulator, huge steps in a short time. I wonder if Stenzek (PS1 & 2 emulator dev) would be keen to add a hand. His work along with others on Duckstation and Pcsx2 is amazing.

Yes you would think this would be easier than RPCS3 since I'm sure the cell processor in the PS3 makes it harder to emulate than a standard x86 processor like in the PS4 and 5. I think once they get it figured out, it will be one of the best emulators around.

I get crash after 12:23. Am I doing it wrong? It's no problem when in menu but when it goes ingame Shadps4 crash imediately.

It needs quite a lot of improvements to be equal/better than hardware PS4. But it's promising. We might achieve an optimised linux/android version of it and play PS4 games on powerful handhelds too in the future. 👍

Like a ton of other people, it works for me, but once I get past character creation it freezes during the loading screen and hard crashes ShadPS4. Really wish I could get it working!

Im amazed that it performs well as well. Crashes everytime you get hit. BUt the performance actually is pretty good which is mind boggling. Bloodborne on PC very soon

Cool but this video missed the point i was looking for which was how i got the actual game file. Theres nothing i can find online on either where to download a ROM or extract my own copy from my PS4
