Best and neatest way to fish spam: hair rig /catfish and carp

short video of the best and neatest way to fish spam on hair rig for catfish and carp , this way the meat will stay on for hours without coming off. Can be free lined or fished conventional style with a lead set up. A smaller tube can be used for the likes of babel using something like an old Armour Mesh tube as they are thinner.

Using this method i have never had the meat come off, make sure you use the straw so the line doesn't cut through the meat.

Started this channel as i nearly always fish on my own and filming passes the time away when the fishing is slow, Mostly my fishing is after work until the next morning so filming opportunities are limited but i do my best. I usually fish Lymm Anglers water s with the odd session on other waters.

i usually fish for carp in the summer and Pike in the winter with a few catfish sessions thrown in.

Why not push the spam in to PVA mesh when in the tube might help keep it on on cast, just a thought.

I don’t like the idea of using plastic in case the bait comes off and the fish ends up with plastic inside it’s stomach.

What can I use to hold the meat on to the hair as I ain’t useing that big of a place of meat

If see this what make and size hooks you use. I do shark fishing and find circle hooks really good for hooking so thinking be same for cats.
