Narrator drove me insane, but this was the couple I loved as a child and wanted to be a volcanologist like them. So happy to see this documentary depicting their lives and passion for volcanoes.

j ai eu le grand privilege de connaitre Maurice pendant qu il logeait chez des amis communs lors d une de ses tournées comme conferencier.
Quand j ai connu les circonstances de leur mort, j ai repensé a ce qu il m avait dit a propos des dangers qu ils encouraient constamment .
dixit Maurice : " l endroit le plus dangeureux c est le lit, 98% des gens y meurent . Si je doit mourir un jour je prefere que ce soit dans une nuée ardente que dans un lit " . voila....il est mort commme il l a voulut, ils etaient heureux, passionés, inquiets aussi pour pouvoir avancer dans leur recherche sur les predictions qui sauveraient des milliers de vies a chaque eruption d un volcan . j ai hate de voir le documentaire, non pour les images, car maurice m en a montre enormement, mais pour l histoire, une reelle et merveilleuse histoire.

Fire within fire of live. No disrespect this was fun, but herzog felt personal. I recommend both but at the end, fire within is to the heart and to the point
